Residential Architecture and Engineering

I work with a great structural engineer and an amazing architect. Together we take care of what the client needs, including going to the city for permits. This saves my clients from having to hire a bunch of different people independently, that may not work well together. I work directly with the architect, structural engineer, and my tried and true contractors to get projects done right. We’re dependable which helps our clients feel at ease, and makes the final product better.

Residential Interior Design Projects are All Different

We had a recent project in Newport Beach that was really fun. It was a neat house with great bones, but it was super dated and didn’t feel beachy at all. It was dark and heavy.

We transformed the space to make it feel like it belonged where it was. We kept the original footprint of the kitchen and bathrooms because that worked well and re-designed everything else all the way down to picking out window treatments and shopping for dishes and glassware. I worked on every little detail.

What I love about residential interior design is being open and collaborative. I’m really open to working with clients, and working with whatever’s going to be comfortable for their lifestyle and budget.

Hands on Residential Interior Design

A lot of clients like to be really hands on and involved in the process. A lot of them don’t. Some clients just want me to go shopping with them to help pick out new furnishings, window coverings, lighting, or artwork. For some clients we transform their space by reworking it and moving items from one part of the house to another. No matter the scope, every project is a great one:
